A Funeral Director Apprentice must be detailed oriented, an effective communicator, able to handle direction, practice proper phone etiquette, and proficient in computer usage (including photoshop, Electronic Death Registry System, Microsoft Word, etc.). Eligible Applicants must also be pursuing a Mortuary Science Degree at an American Board of Funeral Service Education accredited college.
Job responsibilities:
Snow Funeral Home is looking for a full-time employee. A Funeral Director Apprentice duties include but are not limited to: the placing of floral arrangements, greeting attendees at funeral services and visitations, driving and operating fleet cars (including hearse), helping with the funeral service, cleaning at funeral home, helping with the preparation of decedents, sitting in on arrangements, working alongside fellow staff members to provide the best care possible.
