Yes, there are many funeral service related scholarships. In addition, once you are a CCMS student, you will receive periodic notices of scholarship opportunities specifically for students.

What is the CCMS Academic Excellence Scholarship?

I don\'t have any experience with embalming. Will I be at a disadvantage?
No! CCMS students start their education at all different levels of experience. You are at CCMS to learn, so prior experience is not necessary.

What will my lab schedule be like?
You will be scheduled for lab (Clinical Mortuary Practice) one day per week, either in the morning or the afternoon. You will receive your schedule at orientation.

Is there a lab orientation?
Yes, there is a lab orientation during the first week of classes. This is in addition to general orientation on the first day of school.

Do you employ students in the clinical lab?
Yes, we employ students as Lab Assistants.

Will I have a student email account?
Yes, each student is assigned an email account. You will receive your log-in information a few days before Orientation. 

Will I have access to a computer on campus?
Yes, the library has desktops and laptops for student use.

Will I have access to a printer / copier on campus?
Yes, the library has printers / copiers for student use. 

Does CCMS provide student discounts on Microsoft Office?
No

Where do I park?
CCMS has only one parking lot; students and staff both park here.

Is parking free?
Yes, parking is free.

Does CCMS offer childcare services?
No, we do not have child care facilities, nor are we affiliated with a child care facility.

Are guests allowed on campus?
In order to be courteous to other students and to maintain the maximum level of security and confidentiality, students must keep personal visitors to a minimum.
